Bed Bug Inspections

If you think you have them, give us a call! Our inspectors will assess your situation and provide you with the best plan of action to solve your problem.

1. K9 Assisted Bed Bug Inspections - The fastest way to detect most bed bug problems.  We combine the best of both worlds - the highly trained nose of our certified bed bug sniffing dog and the sharp eye and experience of our dog handler to search your home. Any alerts from our dogs are confirmed by our handler before we recommend treatment.

2. Visual Inspection and Insect Identification - Visual inspections are sufficient in most situations and our inspectors know where to look, what to look for and how to look thoroughly.  Our trained bed bug inspectors routinely find infestations residents didn't even know were there.

3.  The Interceptor Test - This is a passive method which is more effective at finding low-level infestations than visual or K9 inspectors! Interceptor traps are placed under the feet of suspected beds or couches, and 10 to 14 days later the traps are checked. This is very useful in situations where bugs are newly introduced or deeply entrenched in walls, and their numbers are low and therefore hard to find.

Do you have a sample?  Take a picture, email it to us and we will identify it for free! (And please keep all samples until the problem is properly assessed!)

**Very Important** Remember that the presence or absence of bed bugs cannot be confirmed by the presence or absence of what look like "bite marks".  Many people do not react to bites at all, each individual reacts differently, reactions to bites change over time, and there is no definitive text book for your doctor to use to identify bed bug bites (or spider bites, or flea bites, or mite bites, or a mosquito or wasp bite either).  So if you have "bite marks" or the itchy scratchies, don't freak out because it may not be bed bugs at all!
